1. Overview

Trackpad Shortcuts is a macOS utility that lets you assign actions to trackpad corner gestures. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

2. Local App Data

Your shortcut assignments, calibration settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Trackpad Shortcuts does not need your documents, photos, messages, browsing history, or the contents of the apps you open.

3. System Permissions

Trackpad Shortcuts may ask for macOS Accessibility permission so it can trigger the actions you configure. Granting this permission does not give Trackpad Shortcuts ownership of your data, and you can revoke it at any time in System Settings.

4. Analytics

Trackpad Shortcuts uses Amplitude analytics to understand website visits, download clicks, setup, configuration, upgrade intent, and app health. Website analytics may include page views, download button clicks, referrer, campaign parameters, browser information, approximate device information, and a locally stored anonymous device identifier.

App analytics may include information such as app version, macOS major version, plan status, enabled shortcut counts, selected action categories, calibration changes, and general screen or button events.

Analytics are designed to avoid collecting the content of your shortcuts, URLs you open, text snippets, files, or the specific apps and websites you use through Trackpad Shortcuts.

5. Purchases And Entitlements

If paid features are offered, Trackpad Shortcuts may use RevenueCat or a payment provider to check subscription or entitlement status. Payment processing is handled by the payment provider, not by Trackpad Shortcuts directly.

6. Support

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, app version, macOS version, and any troubleshooting details you include.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
